About

I am a music composer and educator based in Singapore, who holds a PhD in Music Composition from The University of York, UK. Throughout my career, I have combined my passion for music education with my work as a composer. I strongly believe in the idea that "everyone is creative," which has become my educational motto. My adaptability, resilience, and creativity have enabled me to gain extensive experience teaching various music curricula in conservatories, universities, colleges, and schools in Spain, the United Kingdom, Peru, and Singapore. My areas of interest lie in music analysis from the composer's perspective and in exploring diverse approaches to aural training in music education. I have conducted training courses, presented papers, and delivered seminars on music analysis in prestigious institutions such as King’s College London, National Conservatoire of Peru, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Autonomous University of Madrid, and many others. My compositions and arrangements have been performed internationally by renowned performers and ensembles, receiving commissions from both individual performers and festivals. In addition, I have created music for student books and composed piano pieces for different levels. My music has been broadcasted by RNE, and published by La Mà de Guido and Editorial Nacional de Chile.
